“We have beefed up the security and entry arrangements for the upcoming first one day international to be played at picturesque ground in Dharamshala,” said a spokesman of HPCA.

He said that changes have been put in place after the experiences from the previous games and we have enhanced surveillance and security for the convenience of spectators and players.

The spokesman said that HPCA has increased, channelized and properly demarcated and marked the barricading at all entry points so that the ticket holder is not harassed and confused. We have also replaced analog systems with 4 megapixel IR IP HD coloured cameras at all entry exit gates, said he.

To ensure foolproof security, the HPCA has also installed the PTZ HD cameras to capture every close movement and minute detail on the ground .Besides, door frame metal detectors have been installed on every entry to avoid disguised material entry into the stadium, he said.

Transtile machine is also installed at all strategic points for the appropriate checking of tickets and prioritising the overall security of players and spectators and also to check the use of fake duplicate tickets , the spokesman added.

He said that more security guards will be deployed at all points for effective monitoring of entry gates and inside the stadium. In addition to this, Himachal Police will supplement the arrangements for a smooth game of cricket as assured by the authorities in the security meetings for the match, added he.
